A message from Mr Rob Lippett
Hi, my name is Rob Lippett and I am your Inclusion and Family Support Assistant at Thornbury Primary School.
I work as part of the Inclusion team. Our role is to support vulnerable children, ensure that all our pupils feel included in the school community and to provide specialist information and advice to teachers and to parents.
My role with families is to offer support and impartial advice to you on any concerns or queries you may have about your child's education or well-being. I may not have the answers, but I will do my best to support you and if necessary, signpost you to the right person or agency to help you.
Part of my role in school includes training teachers to manage challenging behaviour. I am also available to help families who are managing children’s challenging behaviour at home.
I am able to offer support in the following area:
- Provide information about services and sources of help
- Attend meetings with you, for moral support, to ask questions or to take notes
- Help complete forms/paperwork
- Help you understand and manage referrals
- An unbiased ear
There are many more ways in which I may be able to assist, please feel free to contact me. No matter how small your concern, if something is worrying you then talk about it, hopefully, we can resolve it.
I am in school Monday to Friday, so please give me a call or text on 07401340086 or 01752 302600 or you can email me at inclusion@thornbury.plymouth.sch.uk or just ask for me at reception. My role does include working one to one with children, there may be times I am not available but I will try to get back to you on the same day or early the following day.
I look forward to meeting you.
Rob
